About the Girl
Hello fellow kids! I'm Erin, an award winning designer and all around cool gal. After spending a few years staring at cosmetic bottles and hairdryers, I realized it must be someone's job to design these things! So I took a huge leap, and moved to Toronto. Here I would finish design school with honours and a medal, and a DesignTO win under my belt.

I've started my creative career as a freelancer, and I'm always looking to make connections in the field or collab on projects! Besides product design and art, I am also a skilled writer. Currently, I'm getting back into the swing of my painting practice and picking up some After Effects knowledge.

AYR Treatment - Senior Writer & Senior Visual Designer

Lead pitch writing for treatments on advertising campaigns, aligning with creative vision and project objectives. I weave compelling story concepts, characters, and themes into a tapestry of engaging narratives. Collaboration with other creative professionals, such as directors to strengthen the treatment, as well as revisions and addressing concerns and feedback.

OCAD University - Director, Industrial Design GradEx

Director of OCAD's Industrial Design GradEx show this year. Selecting members of student committee, task delegation, shaping of the show's general look and feel. Also handled treasurer responsibilities, including donations from sponsors and students, and receipt filing.
March 2022 - April 2022
CANVAS Toronto - Design Intern

Optimizing of E-Rank, Instagram and other e-commerce services. Line sheet creation and accessory design. Due to my excellent work CANVAS now has a spot in Glamour UK magazine's webshop.
December 2020 - February 2021
Materials as Communication - Content Strategist

Social media strategy, optimizing, and posting, assisted design and structure the expo. Initiated and produced press releases for the exhibit at CAMH. Interviewed with CBC Metro Morning, and won the DesignTO 2021 Herman Miller Award.
Festival win was determined using Instagram analytics and exposure, as the festival was online due to COVID-19.
